Laponia World Heritage Site

The 9,400 square meter contiguous nature area contains a living cultural landscape with Sami tradition of reindeer herding. Muddus National Park

For more than 400 years, the traditional winter market has been organized in Jokkmokk during the coldest days of winter. Nowadays it is a festival for all of Sapmí, but from the beginning it had a completely different purpose.
